NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a voluntary youth-driven program aimed at developing student personality through community service. Launched in 1969, NSS provides a platform for students to connect classroom learning with real-world social needs, fostering a sense of civic responsibility and national integration. There are 2 NSS units in the institution with an uptake capacity of 100 volunteers each year. Active volunteers receive a certificate upon completing 240 hours of regular service or a 7-day special camp, which is highly valued by employers and for higher studies.
