The department celebrated World Environment Day with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”. Saplings and seeds were distributed to students to promote environmental consciousness. The Principal, Dr. George K. Alex, inaugurated the programme and appreciated the student-designed posters and handcrafts made from plastic waste. Certificates and mementoes were awarded to participants with the support of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
